  We are delighted you have decided to visit our website today! Pleasant Ridge AME Zion Church has worship services every Sunday morning at 9:30am. Bible Study on Wednesday evenings at 7:00pm.

We are located at 910 Spencer Ave in Gastonia, NC near Pleasant Ridge Elementary School and Hunter Huss High School.

Sunday morning worship experience at  “The Ridge” is one you must encounter for yourself. Pleasant Ridge believes in the power of God and the manifestation of His divine presence. Exciting music ministry, dance ministry and awesome  dynamic preaching/teaching of the Word of God, you will not leave the same way you came. Come and experience your encounter with God!

We have 2 areas for parking. One directly across from the church and the other is located in proximity of the church at the intersection of Spencer and Miller in the fenced in area.

Upon your first visit, you will be warmly greeted by the Greeter Ministry Representative, given your gift, a worship program, and ushered to a seat of your choosing. We want you to feel free to worship, therefore there is no pressure and no great expectations of you. Our worship service is a guided experience which is also displayed on overhead media for your viewing. It is your option to meet our pastor at the end of service or to mingle among the congregation.  At PRC we foster a non-judgmental,  warm, and welcoming environment. We express this love to all who come.
